Power Plush is a flat-hierarchy quartet with three fundamentally different lead vocals rotating from song to song. Their music never exists in a vacuum: expansive, warm sounds between indie rock and dream pop are always framed by a thoroughly tactile, utopian-pastel aesthetic world — milky-coloured stage lights, eccentric retro looks, rhinestones and backdrops wrapped in stardust.

Even the debut EP "Vomiting Emotions" sounded as flowery, fresh and pink-turquoise as its cover looked. The debut album "Coping Fantasies" told stories from a miniature plasticine world that opened up in the accompanying visuals. Add to that: English-language lyrics, sprawling walls of guitar, and melodies that are grand and unobtrusive at once — songs about relationships from surreally harmonious to crisis-shaken, about innermost feelings and what passes between people. With Power Plush, music, aesthetics and stage are never to be separated.
