kusskuss is the solo project of Tilman Kerber — a musical all-rounder who grew up in a small town somewhere between boredom and restlessness. He started launching his own projects and trying things out creatively early on: he makes music, takes photographs, produces videos and writes lyrics. These different forms feed off each other and also flow into kusskuss.

Thematically, his songs revolve around unhappy love, jealousy, desperation, loneliness, self-criticism — and tell of emotional shifts: of relationships that change, of inner conflicts, of swaying between closeness and retreat, of moments where delusions of grandeur and self-doubt go head to head.

kusskuss stands for new beginnings. Sometimes old things have to make way so new ones can take shape — and that's exactly what this project opens the gate for: a new sonic world.
