Pablu

Pablu is a Berlin-based new wave artist by choice, whose indie-pop sound sits somewhere between danceable guitar work and folk songwriting. In quieter settings, he delivers intimate piano and guitar ballads — and that's where Pablu shows himself as a chronicler of the mid-twenties muddle: of beers at the skatepark, of a big city you sort of like, and of course of you and me.

Mixed with up-tempo indie numbers that serve up that melancholic summer feeling on a silver platter, the result is a many-sided indie sound — made for Bluetooth speakers in the park or car rides heading somewhere in the direction of "no idea, just drive". Mental cinema included, naturally.
